OK. After finally compiling and editing my journal and photos, here it is --- the story of how I lost a day in my life by travelling west from Japan to Canada in 1997. Was it worth it? Without a doubt..
Enclosed are some anecdotal experiences and photos of six countries from Thailand to India, as well as a few cool travel links. Road Stories
I Left Japan on July 24th after countless farewells, a crazy final week, and three years of fantastic memories. I sent my 16+ boxes back to Canada and took off in another direction. Many possibilities had crossed my mind while planning this trip: the Asian Pacific islands, Australia, New Zealand, even China. However in the end I decided that I was heading back to Canada anyway, so I might as well start travelling in a westerly direction.
